This page explains what data Var Technology receives when you visit this site, what we do with it, and how to ask us to delete it. It is written from what the site actually does, not from a template.
Var Technology, Buenos Aires, Argentina. For anything related to privacy, write to info@vartechnology.com.ar.
The quote form transmits nothing to our server. When you fill it in and submit, your browser composes an email with what you wrote and opens it in your own mail program. Nothing leaves your computer until you press send there. If you would rather not use it, write to the address above instead — it is exactly the same thing.
Once that email reaches us we receive and keep it like any other email: name, organisation, email address, sport, event and whatever you told us. We use it only to reply and to prepare your proposal.
This site uses no tracking cookies, no analytics and no social media pixels. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta, nothing of the kind. The only cookie that exists is the admin panel session cookie, created only if you log in there — never for visitors.
The site is hosted with Hostinger. Like any web server it automatically logs the requests it receives: IP address, date and time, page requested and browser type. These are technical logs used to run and secure the service. We do not combine them with anything else and we do not use them to profile anyone.
The site's typefaces load from Google Fonts. That means when you open a page your browser requests those files from a Google server and Google receives your IP address. It is the only third party involved in browsing. If you would rather it did not happen, tell us: we can host the fonts on our own server and that contact disappears.
We keep enquiry emails for as long as the commercial relationship lasts and a reasonable time after, in case we pick the conversation back up. If you ask us to delete them, we delete them.
You can ask us at any time what data of yours we hold, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it. Write to info@vartechnology.com.ar and we will answer. No special form, no charge.
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation gives you those rights and also the right to lodge a complaint with your country's supervisory authority. In Argentina, Personal Data Protection Law 25.326 gives you equivalent rights before the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública.
Our server and our mail are outside the European Union. If you write to us from there, your data is processed outside the European Economic Area.
If we change any of this we update the date in the header. We do not make retroactive changes to data already received.
